Today, they are recognized as the preferred brand by the region’s top chefs, and they offer a complete line of authentic imported Italian foods for today’s finest restaurants, delis and specialty stores. Among their offerings:

Parmigiano – Reggiano

Made from special ingredients found only one place on earth, Famoso Parmigiano-Reggiano is handcrafted by artisans from a recipe over seven centuries old. It is then aged slowly in carefully tended storehouses. The result is nothing less than extraordinary -- a cheese that is rich, with a slightly fruity flavor and a flaky, slightly grainy texture.

Prosciutto di Parma® or Parma Ham ®

For centuries, Prosciutto di Parma® or Parma Ham ® - the names are interchangeable – has been prized for its enticing aroma and incomparable flavor. By law this famous ham can be made and cured only in the gently rolling countryside near Parma Italy, and additives such as sugar, spices, smoke, water and nitrites are prohibited.

San Marzano Tomatoes

The San Marzano tomato is Italy’s most famous plum tomato, grown in Campania, the home of pizza—since the middle ages. The tomato is prized for its tart flavor, firm pulp, red color, low seed-count and easily removed skin. It is widely used in both pizza and pasta, and has recently become a famous around the world as the base for Vera Pizza Napolentana. In fact, the San Marzano tomato is so sought-after, you must watch out for domestic imitators using the San Marzano name -- it’s like calling jug win “burgundy” or bulk sparking wine “champagne.”
