Perkins Awards 2011 MVP

Jeff Boyden is the recipient of Perkins 2011 MVP of the Year Award. Jeff is the Inventory Control Supervisor and has been with Perkins since June of 2003. “Jeff’s great attitude and willingness to help has assisted Perkins in making significant improvements in the warehouse. Winning this award is a testament to Jeff’s outstanding performance”, said Trisha Donahue, Director of Quality Processes and Chairperson of the MVP Selection Committee.

“Congratulations to Jeff. The MVP Award is a celebration of our unique, employee-friendly culture. Choosing one employee as MVP of the Year is a daunting task, given the high level of performance by so many of our employees, many of which have long, distinguished service records with the company”, said Bob Crawford, COO of Perkins and 30 year employee.

The Perkins MVP of the Year is chosen from one of 12 monthly MVP winners. Monthly MVP winners are chosen from a pool of 600 employees, from which five or six are nominated each month. Nominations are given to employees that are consistently exceptional performers who may also exhibit extraordinary behavior.
